Physicians Working At Different Clinical Settings: Can They Recognize and Manage Anaphylaxis?

Anaphylaxis is defined as a severe hypersensitivity reaction that can cause sudden onset and death. Therefore, it vital the diagnosis made timely administration of epinephrine. In this study, was aimed to determine knowledge attitudes physicians in Edirne city center regarding treatment anaphylaxis. The study designed cross sectional survey. Physicians were visited their institutions. A written questionnaire applied face-to-face included questions about management total 347 physician agreed participate study. 43.5% did not read any literature, book chapters or guidelines criteria. Only 16.7% responders knew all sign symptoms Twenty eight percent correct route dose epinephrine administration.
